MPT76 16” National Infantry Rifle

The MPT76 (National Infantry Rifle), one of the government projects of the Republic of Turkey, has been developed since 2008 using exclusively national and domestic resources and began to enter service with the Turkish Armed Forces and Security Forces since 2017. The MPT-76 is one of the rare rifles that has successfully passed all 42 standard NATO tests, which are carried out in various climatic conditions, sand, rain, mud, etc. The 4,200 gram rifle can effectively shoot at a distance of up to 600 meters and has a barrel life of 12,000 rounds. All NATO standard accessories can be installed on the rifle thanks to the presence of Picatinny rails on 4 sides of the forend and on the upper receiver. This model is presented with a barrel length of 406 mm.
